Important 5th Grade Field Trips:

- 12/4: Field trip- Singing at a NATURALIZATION CEREMONY for new US Citizens (wear "Sunday best" red/white/blue or black tops if possible)

- 12/14: Field trip- Planetarium (volunteers needed- contact Ms. Santos if interested csantos@graniteschools.org)

LATE/MISSING WORK is due by Wednesday, October 28th.

RED RIBBON WEEK:

Mon: Wear red shirt and jeans
Tues: Crazy sock, crazy hair day
Wed: Athletic clothes, sports jersey
Thurs: Halloween costume

Progress Reports for 5th Graders

Students will be notified, with a paper printout, every two weeks of their missing assignments. 

Students who have no missing assignments will receive a celebratory mini-certificate and class money as a reward for their dedication and responsibility. 

Parents should look for these printouts on 9/4/15, 9/18/15, 10/9/15, and 10/23/15.  

A midterm grade report will be given at SEP Conferences on 9/28-9/29.   

It is important to know that students review their grades online WEEKLY in the computer lab and parents can review grades at any time on Gradebook (gb.graniteschools.org).  You will need your child's 9# to access Gradebook.  You child, your child's teacher, or the office, can give you their 9# if you need it.
